Keep it simple! Our smooth linen shades are an easy upgrade for your home or design project. Sometimes this clean, simple look is just what you’re looking for.

Sorella Glenn hardback lampshades are offered in all of our 26 solid linen colors in a drum, empire or oval silhouette.

Why are they called hardbacks? Because the linen is glued onto a thin styrene liner that provides shape and structure, creating a smooth lampshade. The styrene is thin enough for a significant amount of light to pass through, but darker linen colors will restrict some of this light.

As with all Sorella Glenn shades, these are made to order for you in the USA.

Lampshades are large and fragile! Sorella Glenn shades are carefully packed and not stacked. Stacking the shades risks creasing the special pleating, so our shades are packed with spacers that protect them from sliding together.

Standard ground shipping charges are 12% of the cost of goods sold. After the shades are made, delivery usually takes about 5 to 7 business days. Custom orders can take 8-12 weeks or more. We will alert you when the shades ship and send you a tracking number. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns about lead times.

*All shades 20" and larger carry a $75 freight charge due to the oversized boxes.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. In-store purchases have a 7 day return window. The following products are not eligible for returns: lampshades with different colored trim, custom sizes, custom paint colors, fabric by the yard. All lampshades that have a different colored trim (rather than self trim) are final sale, as they are completely customized for you. To qualify for an exchange or refund, items must be returned within 14 days in their original packaging. The cellophane must remain on the shade, and the hang tag must be attached. Damaged delivery items must be reported within 5 days. Photos of damaged boxes are required.

Good to Know

All lampshades are referred to by their bottom diameter (top diamter x bottom diameter x height). So a lampshade that’s labeled as 8" x 16" x 10" is referred to as a 16” shade.
